Only 15 Weeks To Go

**Disclaimer: I was REALLY swollen this morning! :)

Yes, I know...I'm getting really big! I think the hardest part about being pregnant at this moment is getting bigger and bigger every week! Ha! It's incredible how fast I'm growing these days---my clothes are getting tighter...my cheeks are beginning to look like a chipmunk's cheeks...and I was aware that my feet/hands would swell, but I wasn't aware that my toes would start to resemble little sausages!

The little man moves ALL THE TIME! I'd say during the day he moves for about 5 minutes every 1.5 hours...and he only wakes me up once during the night, around 4am....I hope his sleep patterns stay the same and we'll have a sleeping baby at night!! :) ....and Eric is really hoping for that!

Other people can now feel the baby move whenever he moves...and when he's really feeling strong, you can see his arms and legs punching my stomach. It's truly amazing. He's also starting to get a little personality...when Lucy (the pup) is sitting on my stomach, or I rest a book on my stomach, the baby will punch/kick/thrust about to get whatever it is on my stomach, off of my stomach. It's pretty funny...

6 MONTHS ALONG...

Today was our 6 month (24 week) Dr's appointment. Everything went really well...the baby's heart rate is at a strong 150. We go back in 4 weeks, and that will be our last 4 week appointment; we then start going every 2 weeks...

As you can see, I'm definitely getting bigger---sorry about the picture from the front instead of the side, ha...I wasn't feeling the side picture this morning.

Eric and I had a great weekend in Cleveland for one of his best friend's weddings and spending time with the family and the new addition, Abigail Mae Filipovitz---Eric's brother and wife, Pat & Sarah, were blessed with Abigail on January 27...She's a doll...

NURSERY!

We put the furniture together this weekend!!! Well, Eric put it together (I can't take credit, he did such a great job)!! It all looks so wonderful...the bedding is perfect. We also found a rug for his room and it really pulls everything together. The only things we're lacking are a couple items for the walls and the curtains that are coming from Carrollton.

I can't believe we'll be a full 23 weeks tomorrow...the weeks are passing by so quickly.

Our next Dr's appointment is next Tuesday (6 month appt) and then we have another 4 weeks following...that will be our last 4 week appointment. We then start going every 2 weeks!

Furniture!

We went shopping on Saturday and finally bought the crib! It's pictured to the right...(this is the manufacturer's picture so this isn't our bedding or anything like that). We went to several places we'd checked out before, and wound up loving the 3 piece set at Babies R Us. It's Coffee colored solid wood with a Natural finish. The dresser/changing table combo unit and tall dresser are perfect as well. The furniture ships from the warehouse within 7-10 days and we should be bringing it home shortly after that. I'll post pictures once we get them set up in his room. The brown and green baby bedding we have is going to be perfect in this crib!! The room is coming together so nicely.
