...Bigger by the day

This was taken this morning, so I still look sleepy! Everyone has been asking for more pictures to see my belly, so here is one to see me! Getting bigger every day...

Over half way!

21 weeks and counting...we are over half way!! The baby boy surprise is still exciting us and we are both so glad to be able to say "he" now, instead of "it".

Time is still rapidly moving, as each week comes and goes quickly. I'm sure it will slow down towards the end...but I'm sure appreciating it now for moving fast.

I honestly haven't had any pregnancy complaints in the past few weeks--I've been feeling great and have had more energy than I've had in a while...but yesterday I began to experience "Round Ligament Pains", and if any of you Moms have ever experienced it, you will know that it is quite painful...and that's an understatement. Other than those pains, everything is going wonderfully.

I'm always hungry, like a bottomless pit...I've been working on my self control, though, and at 21 weeks I've only gained 5 lbs.

IT'S A BOY!

We found out yesterday that we are having a BOY! We are sooooooo excited! I've never seen Eric's eyes so large and happy...we are both thrilled. The Dr's appointment went really well. He said the baby is "absolutely, 100%, perfect" -- it was so nice to hear that we have such a healthy baby AND it's a boy. We are incredibly blessed...

The weekend was amazing...My mother came into town last Wednesday and spent a few days and the weekend in Nashville. It was so nice to have her here. My brother and his girlfriend came into town on Saturday and spent two nights, and 3 of my best friends from college came to Nashville this weekend, too! It was amazing! We had lunch on Monday at our house and surprised everyone with the news! It was so much fun and definitely something we will never forget! Thanks to everyone who came!! :) And to those of you who couldn't (you know who you are), you were there in spirit--thanks to you, too!

Everyone is wondering about baby names---we're working on it and will most likely keep it a surprise until the final month or two of pregnancy!! :) Don't you just love surprises?

Again, thanks again to everyone for everything! We love you all and can't express our gratitude enough....YAY!!! IT'S A BOY!!!

Nineteen Weeks

WOO! In 6 days we find out the sex...I hope the days fly by us! We are so excited to finally find out whether the little one is a boy or a girl. A few of our friends are coming over on Monday for lunch, shortly after we find out, to celebrate...(my Mother included!) I can't wait!!

This past weekend, my friend Kerri came to Nashville to visit--we had so much fun! It's been so nice to have great friends come in town to visit and celebrate with us. PS--Bride Wars is a must see; Kerri & I loved it...

As for me, things have been fantastic---I've been feeling great and thoroughly enjoying organizing the house, getting ready for our addition to the family. I've been addicted to cooking every night and doing my best to stay in the healthy zone. So far, so good.

*18 Weeks*

A full 18 weeks today! Only two more weeks until we find out the sex---we are so anxious!!

Something really exciting came in the mail yesterday.....the baby bedding! We ordered it quite some time ago, as we both agreed and loved the colors and print when we came across it. I'm so excited to get the crib so we can put the bedding in it and get this nursery looking like a baby's room! I also painted the knobs on the armoire to match the bedding---everything is starting to really come together!
